Special Board Meeting: Superintendent's Midyear Evaluation

The Westwood Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to conduct the Superintendent's midyear evaluation, as required by state law. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Equilla Bradford Administrative Center, 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights.

Breakfast 7:30am- 8:30am
Lunch 11:30am- 12:30pm

Open to the public with children 18 and younger. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Meals must be consumed onsite

Rescheduled Meeting: Board Team Building

The March 7, 2026, Board meeting re: team building activity has now been rescheduled. It will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 starting at 9:30 a.m.

July Board Meeting Update

The July 9, 2026, Combined Work Study Session and Regular Board Meeting has been rescheduled to July 16, 2026. The start time is 7 p.m. and the meeting location is the Equilla Bradford Administrative Center, 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights.

Update: March 7, 2026 board meeting

The March 7, 2026, Board meeting re: team building activity has been postponed. The Board will decide when they want to reschedule this meeting at the March 10, 2026, Work Study Session. Once the new date has been determined, it will be shared widely.

The Westwood Board of Education will meet on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, to approve the audiovisual contract for the auditorium. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Equilla Bradford Administrative Center, 3335 S. Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights.

The Westwood Community School District will be closed tomorrow, January 27, 2026, due to anticipated -15 degree temperatures.

Winter Break Closure

The Westwood Community School District will be closed from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026. We will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026.
